Provident Energy Trust declares September cash dividend

Sep 10, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- PVX | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Provident Energy Trust (Provident) (Toronto: PVE-UN.TO) (NYSE: PVX), an open-end investment trust, declared yesterday (9 September) an amount of CAD0.12 per unit cash dividend for September. The Trust's annual cash distribution rate is CAD1.44 per trust unit at present and based on this annual rate and the closing price on 8 September 2008 of CAD10.45, Provident's yield is around 13.8%. The dividend will be paid on 15 October 2008, to all unit holders of record on 22 September 2008. The ex-distribution date will be 18 September 2008. The September 2008 dividend will be around USD0.11 per unit based on an exchange rate of USD0.9349, for unit holders receiving their distribution in USD. Depending on the Canadian/USD exchange rate on the payment date, subject to applicable withholding taxes, will be the actual USD distribution.
