ACS has been awarded an extended 10-year information technology outsourcing services contract valued at USD551m by Ingersoll Rand, under which ACS will continue servicing Ingersoll Rand's existing data centre and network requirements as well as integrating the recently acquired Trane business into these services.
Under the contract ACS, which has been Ingersoll Rand's strategic partner since 2002, will be supporting global data centres for mainframe and midrange processing for Ingersoll Rand's business units. ACS will also be providing domestic and international wide area network (WAN) management and support. ACS said that the company's services will be delivered across Ingersoll Rand's network locations in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific.
