The company stated that Risperidone Tablets are used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Risperidone Tablets are the generic version of Janssen's Risperdal Tablets. The product reported annual US sales of approximately USD2.67bn for the 12 months ending 30 June 2008, for the noted strengths, according to IMS Health. The product (Risperdal Tablets)will be launched shortly.
Currently, the company has 109 ANDAs pending FDA approval, 22 of which are potential first-to-file opportunities.
