According to Progressive, the Women's Motorcyclist Foundation (WMF) has been promoting the safe enjoyment of motorcycling among women for 25 years and has also been dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. It has raised over USD2m for Susan G Komen on behalf of Cure, a network of breast cancer survivors and activists.
Progressive said it is partnering with WMF as part of the sponsorship, to exhibit at California Bike Week between 24 - 26 October 2008 in Pomona, California and plans to attend other events in 2009. Visitors to the events will be able to pick up Progressive/WMF kickstand coasters and learn more about both organisations.
