About the Remparts
The Remparts team has been owned by Michel Cadrin, Patrick Roy and Jacques Tanguay since 1997; that was the beginning of a new era for the Remparts. Since then, hockey fans in the greater Québec City area have come to know, year after year, a team with a strong tradition of excellence and a prestigious history; a team that also presents a brand image comparable to those of professional teams. The Remparts market represents a potential clientele of more than half a million people. With a population of 700,000, Québec City and its suburbs account for 9% of the province's total population. The Remparts are identified with the Québec City metropolitan area and have managed to develop a feeling of belonging among the population of the entire region.
