The company targets sectors across verticals which include retail, pharma, healthcare, manufacturing, airlines, entertainment and others, Zebra Technologies's Country Head (India) Sailesh Deshmukh told reporters.
The overall market of printing solutions in the country has been growing at a pace of 35-40 per cent during the last three to four years, he said.
Deshmukh said the Indian printer market is growing fast and the company wants to explore the opportunities available here.
Within a short span of time, the overall automatic identification and data capturing industry (AIDC) market has touched Rs 200 crore, he said.
Zebra Technologies was looking to target organised retail, logistics and manufacturing segments for selling its printing solutions, he said.
The company had also launched its HC 100 printer in the healthcare sector and G-series printer, which is applicable to all verticals like manufacturing, retail, airlines and logistics, he said.
G-series printers offer superior speed and performance for higher throughput and several connectivity options and configuration possibilities for optimal flexibility, he said.
The company had launched its products in major cities including Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
