VanceInfo Technologies Inc signs agreement with Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area in China

PowerRating -- VanceInfo Technologies Inc (NYSE: VIT), an information technology
services company, revealed on 19 September the signing of an Investment
and Cooperation Agreement with Tianjin Economic-Technological
Development Area (TEDA) government, whereby TEDA agreed to provide
support in training subsidies, tax incentives and talent supply to the
company.
A subsidiary of VanceInfo registered in TEDA, VanceInfo Tianjin is a
training and delivery centre. Since September 2007, it has trained
interns and trainees in Tianjin and acquired clients in financial
services and pharmaceutical industries in the area. Tianjin is 100
kilometres southeast of Beijing and has 55 universities and colleges.
Approved by State Council, TEDA is a national level development zone in
China. Tianjin is authorised as an Outsourcing Base City in China by
Ministry of Commerce, where TEDA is certified as the Outsourcing Model
Area.
