Lycoming Engines Receives National Safety Council Award

Lycoming's safety achievements include passing the one million hour mark without a lost time accident twice in the last three years. "We thank and congratulate all of our employees for their leadership and commitment to a safe work environment, safe work practices, and building a culture of prevention," said Ian Walsh, Lycoming senior vice president and general manager. In addition to Lycoming's award, Textron is being named one of America's Safest Companies by the National Safety Council's Occupational Hazards magazine.
