AccessData Corporation and ManTech International Corporation to launch two new training courses

The courses are for government employees and corporate officers in charge of information security and digital investigations. The curriculum has been designed by ManTech for companies to create incident response strategies and capabilities to detect threat, analyse it and remediate it. An intermediate course, Incident Response provides students the knowledge and skills needed to create and execute an Incident Response strategy. People familiar with information security policies and procedures and with the AccessData suite of tools should attend. Enterprise Response is an advanced course providing knowledge and skills to analyse artefacts found on Windows-based systems, where an intrusion has been detected, using AccessData Enterprise. Discussions focussing on remote data collection, analysis of file data, Windows processes and dynamic-link libraries, registry data, network artefacts and threat detection, including that of rootkits will be taught. Lessons will be reinforced with practical exercises throughout the course.
