Office Depot partners with Kodak and LifePics to launch digital photo service

Sep 23, 2008 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- ODP | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Office Depot (NYSE:ODP), a provider of office products and services, announced on Monday (22 September) the launch of a new digital photo service with digital imaging companies Kodak and LifePics.

According to the company, customers need to upload their images to http://www.officedepot.com/photos, then select whether they want their prints and photo products delivered to their home or office or have them ready for pick-up at one of over 1,200 Office Depot retail locations across the US. In addition, there are no delivery fees when a customer chooses to pick up the photos at a local Office Depot retail location.

As well as digital photo prints, customers can reportedly store and archive images through the website and create gifts for friends and family, such as personalised photo albums or photo calendars. The new service also offers solutions for small business customers, such as client presentation books, large format printing and customised cards.
