American Airlines launches fashion-themed sweepstakes in association with MasterCard

Sep 23, 2008 (AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION via COMTEX) -- AMR | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- American Airlines (NYSE:AMR) has announced a new MasterCard promotion with a grand prize of a trip to Milan, Italy.

The Flight to Fashion Sweepstakes is open to customers who visit http://www.aa.com/women and book travel using a MasterCard card and the promotion code AACOMWOMEN. Alternatively consumers can register for a chance to win at http://www.aa.com/flighttofashion.

The grand-prize winner and a guest will win a trip to Milan during Fashion Week in February 2009. The prize includes a three-night hotel stay and front-row seats at a fashion show, as well as a "Shop 'Til You Drop" shopping spree with a USD10,000 pre-paid MasterCard card.

The first-prize winner and a guest will receive a trip to New York City with a four-night hotel stay and a shopping spree with a personal shopper and a USD5,000 pre-paid MasterCard card.
