DemandTec Inc signs agreement to offer Universal Ad's solution with its Promotion Management solution

PowerRating -- DemandTec Inc (Nasdaq: DMAN), a provider of consumer demand management
solutions to the retailers and consumer products companies, declared
yesterday (23 September) that it has signed an agreement with Universal
Ad (http://www.universal-ad.com), a provider of retail advertising
creation and production solutions, to jointly offer its automated
cross-media advertising solutions as an option offered with the
DemandTec Promotion Management solution.
The combined use of the DemandTec and Universal Ad solutions will allow
a merchant to negotiate deals with manufacturers; plan and forecast the
performance of promotions; use analytics and simulation to optimise
price points; buy ad zone and use ad and display support; define ad
space allocation, placement, image and copy based on analytics;
automatically design ad pages based on flexible creative patterns
without resending information; collaborate with the advertising and
marketing departments; and close the promotion loop by feeding back the
final layout, in addition to last-minute changes during the creation
and production process of the ad.
The DemandTec TradePoint Network Partner Programme will have Universal
Ad added to it. The programme improves DemandTec's software services
resident on the DemandTec TradePoint Network, including Deal Management
that automates the entering, submitting, negotiating and archiving of
trade plans in a collaborative environment.
