BRIEF: Class-action lawsuit filed against Spectranetics

Sep 24, 2008 (The Gazette - McClatchy-Tribune News Service via COMTEX) -- SPNC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Sep. 24--A Los Angeles law firm filed a class action lawsuit Tuesday against Spectranetics Corp. and its two top executives in Denver federal district court alleging federal securities law violations by failing to tell investors about problems with federal regulators.

Those problems led the Food and Drug Administration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement to execute search warrants Sept. 4 at the company's Colorado Springs headquarters.
