The model, named Xnote Mini, is installed with an Intel ATOM processor, a built-in 1.3-megapixel web camera and a 160-gigabyte hard drive, LG said in a statement.
LG claims the 1.19-kilogram laptop with built-in 10-inch mini display is the lightest computer produced by a South Korean company. Its sleek design was targeted to lure female users or frequent travellers who want to avoid carrying around heavier models.
The Xnote Mini's keyboard setting is customized for users to allow comfortable typing on the small model, with the size of the 'Shift' key expanded due to its relatively frequent use, LG said.
