Ashland Inc enters into MOU with Ashland India Private Limited to manufacture resins and gel coats

Sep 25, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- ASH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) announced on 24 September that Natural Petrochemicals Private Limited (NPPL) (Mumbai), a part of the Divine Group of companies, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ashland India Private Limited (Mumbai), a subsidiary of Ashland Inc (NYSE:ASH) (Covington, Kentucky), to manufacture polyester resins and gel coats for Ashland in India.

According to Industrial Info Resources, the alliance will bring together NPPL's local manufacturing capabilities and Ashland's global outreach, sales and marketing capabilities, technological prowess and quality-control expertise. The alliance will also support Ashland's growth in the Indian market as well as enhance NPPL's existing local presence.
