CarMax Announces Information for Upcoming Events

RICHMOND, Va., Sep 25, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- KMX | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- CarMax, Inc. (NYSE:KMX) announced today that senior management will present at three conferences in October.

October 2, 2008 -- RBC Capital Markets Consumer Conference.

Mike Dolan, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, will speak at the RBC Capital Markets Consumer Conference in New York, on October 2, 2008, beginning at 2:55 p.m. ET. Mr. Dolan will be in a panel discussion with two other companies. A live webcast will be available on the company's investor information homepage at http://investor.carmax.com.

October 15, 2008 -- Wachovia Consumer Growth Conference.

Joe Kunkel, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Strategy, will speak at the 2008 Wachovia Consumer Growth Conference in New York, on October 15, 2008, beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET. A live webcast will be available on the company's investor information homepage at http://investor.carmax.com.

October 29, 2008 -- Credit Suisse Retail Roundup.

Richard Smith, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, will participate in a series of one-on-one meetings at the Credit Suisse Retail Roundup in Chicago, Illinois, on October 29, 2008. The roundup will not be webcast.
