According to the company, the Xerox Travel Scanner 100 shares many of the software applications that come bundled with other Xerox DocuMate scanners, so now users can work with the same tools on the road that they are familiar with in their offices, delivering document management "to go."
The Travel Scanner includes patented Paper Driven and AutoLaunch technologies from Visioneer so users can automatically start scanning documents as soon as they are inserted into the scanner, the company said.
"Business professionals want the best, easy-to-use products and full function solutions whether on the go or in the office," said John Capurso, vice president of marketing for Visioneer, Xerox's authorized licensee. "Now business travelers can scan, organize and share any document they encounter, from receipts, business cards, and notes to photos, office documents and directions.
