Xerox Introduces Travel Scanner 100

PITTSBURGH, Sep 29, 2008 (ASCRIBE NEWS via COMTEX) -- XRX | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Xerox has announced a mobile scanner that handles the document needs of business travelers, from expense receipts to business cards and documents.

According to the company, the Xerox Travel Scanner 100 shares many of the software applications that come bundled with other Xerox DocuMate scanners, so now users can work with the same tools on the road that they are familiar with in their offices, delivering document management "to go."

The Travel Scanner includes patented Paper Driven and AutoLaunch technologies from Visioneer so users can automatically start scanning documents as soon as they are inserted into the scanner, the company said.
