SHENZHEN, Sep 30, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- SOHU | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- The access speed of Netease.com was the fastest among all Chinese Internet portals in this August, when the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games was held, Sohu.com came fourth and Sina.com was ranking eighth, according to the latest Internet report released by iResearch.

iResearch says in a report that unstable and slow access speed of some best-known websites have affected greatly the user experience, making Internet users skeptical of the brand and technology of these websites or directly pushing them to their competitors.

iResearch has set up over 100,000 test points across the country to monitor the access speed, stability, and popularity of websites.

About 70% of Internet users say that they usually could not wait ten seconds for the web page to show up, according to the latest survey conducted by Websense. It shows that the access speed is everything for websites.
