Hogan & Hartson: Hogan & Hartson Advises Inchcape plc, On Its Sale of Inchcape France

PARIS, Sep 30, 2008 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- IHCPF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Hogan & Hartson LLP has advised Inchcape plc (a London Stock Exchange-listed company) in connection with its sale of automotive retailer Inchcape France to DBF Automobiles.

For this transaction, the Hogan & Hartson team representing Inchcape plc was led by partner Isabelle MacElhone (Paris) who handled the Corporate/M&A aspects of the deal. She was assisted by associate Karen Chabrires (Paris). Partner James Vaudoyer (Paris) advised on the tax aspects of the transaction.

The shareholders for DBF Automobiles were advised by Touttee, Carre & Associes, whose team was led by partner Jean-Franois Carre and associate Sabrina Bol.

Inchcape operates both automotive distribution and retail businesses, with multiple revenue streams (including sales of new and used vehicles, parts, service, finance and insurance), for the world's most successful car brands.
