Vodafone UK: Vodafone UK Launches VF830

Sep 30, 2008 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- VOD | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Vodafone UK has added to its expanding range of Vodafone branded phones with the VF830, a compact slider phone with an auto-focus 3.2 MP camera and an MP3 player. As an HSDPA device it's also great for high speed internet access and with a 2.4inch screen it is ideal for looking at Google Maps, watching clips on You Tube, updating Facebook and reading emails. The VF830 will also support video calling. The VF830 will be GBP80 on pre-pay.

The VF830 is available from this week and joins the VF725 on pre-pay and the VF810 on contract and pre-pay, and the recently launched VF527 which comes in a range of rainbow colours at GBP30 on pre-pay plans.

Vodafone pay as you talk customers can also sign up to Text Unlimited a new plan launched on 1 September that rewards customers with unlimited texts according to how much they top up each month.

Text Unlimited is free to opt-in to for new and existing PAYT customers and can be activated by calling 2345. A customer's total top-up value is calculated each month and a customer's account is credited the corresponding text reward to use in the following month. There are three tiers to the plan and the more a customer tops up the more they will gain:

Top up GBP5 during the month and receive unlimited texts weekday evenings in the following month* Top up GBP10 and receive unlimited evening and weekend texts the following month Top up GBP30 or more and receive unlimited texts to use at any time the following month

Text Unlimited is the first plan in the UKmobile market to give rewards to customers who top up as little as GBP5 each month.
