Teledyne wins $156m US defense contract

Oct 01, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- TDY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- US-based Teledyne Technologies' subsidiary Teledyne Solutions has won a $155.6m indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract from US Department of Defense's Missile Defense Agency to provide support services.

Under the contract, the company will provide technical, programmatic, advisory and assistance services to the Missile Defense Agency. Work will be performed at Huntsville, Alabama and the company expects to complete the work by September 2009.

Missile Defense Agency has also awarded a $19.4m contract to L-3 Communication for specialized technical and programmatic, advisory and assistance services. The contract is expected to complete by September 2009.
