Dominion Resources Inc reports 6% growth outlook

Oct 01, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- D | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Dominion Resources Inc (NYSE:D) reported a growth outlook of 6% and USD13.1bn in active projects at the Merrill Lynch Power & Gas Leaders Conference.

The company's president, chairman and CEO, Thomas Farrell II, announced a total of USD3.7bn in capital (USD2.2bn) and maintenance (USD1.5bn) spending planned for 2008. The majority, or 90%, of the spending will be directed towards regulated businesses, according to Industrial Info Resources.
