Oxford Bank Partners With Marc M. Powers of Raymond James Financial Services

OXFORD, Mich., Oct 02, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- RJF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Oxford Bank, a subsidiary of Oxford Bank Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: OXBC), announced today the hiring of Marc M. Powers, a licensed Raymond James Financial Services representative, to manage the non-traditional banking portfolios of the Bank's customers. Since 2002, Oxford Bank has maintained a third-party agreement with the Tampa, Florida investment firm allowing for a registered agent to represent and service the Bank's customers who are seeking to acquire non-traditional banking products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds and insurance.

Mr. Powers officially joined the Bank on September 8, 2008. He brings over 11 years of financial planning experience with Raymond James Financial Services to this position. In addition to advising and assisting Oxford Bank individual and commercial customers with the purchase of investment options, he will also provide expertise in financial research and planning, along with tax and estate planning.

A Clarkston resident, Mr. Powers holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration and finance as well as an Associates Degree in real estate management from Ferris State University.
