GeoEye appoints Jeanine Montgomery as VP, accounting and corporate controller

Oct 03, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- GEOY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- GeoEye Inc (Nasdaq: GEOY), a provider of satellite, aerial and geospatial information, announced on Thursday (2 October) the appointment of Jeanine Montgomery to the position of vice president, accounting and corporate controller.

In her new role Montgomery will manage all of GeoEye's accounting operations, regulatory reporting and SEC compliance, as well as its treasury and tax operations.

Most recently Montgomery served as assistant controller at USA Mobility, a position she has held for three years. She has over 20 years of financial and accounting management experience in government contracting, digital technology and staffing services.
