Porter Airlines exercises options for two Bombardier aircraft

Oct 03, 2008 (AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION via COMTEX) -- BDRAF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Porter Airlines, a Canadian regional passenger airline, is exercising options to purchase two Bombardier Aerospace Q400 aircraft.

The two aircraft are valued at a total of USD52m, based on the list price of the Q400.

Delivery of the aircraft is scheduled for the end of 2009.

The options are part of an order that was announced in 2006.
