The senior correspondent for National Public Radio will lecture on the 2008 election on Thursday at Fresno City College, McKinley and Van Ness avenues. The lecture is at 11 a.m. in the gymnasium. Admission is free.
Williams also is a regular panelist for "Fox News Sunday" and former correspondent and columnist for the Washington Post. He is the author of the critically acclaimed biography "Thurgood Marshall: American Revolutionary" and the nonfiction best-seller "Eyes on the Prize: America's Civil Rights Years, 1954-1965," which was a companion volume to the television series.
