Answers Corp. Lists on NASDAQ Capital Market

Oct 03, 2008 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- ANSW | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Answers Corp., creator of an answer search engine offering Answers.com and WikiAnswers.com, announced that listing of its common stock would transfer from The NASDAQ Global Market to The NASDAQ Capital Market at the opening of business on September 29, and its trading symbol will remain "ANSW".

The NASDAQ Capital Market, formerly The NASDAQ SmallCap Market, is a continuous trading market that operates in the same manner as The NASDAQ Global Market. All companies, whose securities are listed on The NASDAQ Capital Market must meet certain financial requirements and adhere to NASDAQ's corporate governance standards. The NASDAQ Capital Market includes the securities of approximately 450 companies.

Answers Corp. owns and operates Web properties dedicated to providing answers in thousands of categories. The reference site Answers.com includes content on five million topics from over 180 licensed sources from leading publishers, including Houghton Mifflin Company, Barron's, and Encyclopedia Britannica.
