The stores are in the Beaumont-Houston area.
The storms initially closed down 100 partner drive-ins and 336 franchise locations, said spokeswoman Christi Woodworth. Some remain operating with limited hours and menus because of city services not yet at 100 percent or curfews still in effect in some smaller communities.
Woodworth said most of the restaurants reopened soon after Hurricanes Gustav and Ike hit in early September.
The closings initially affected about 1,000 employees, but about 300 crew members were significantly impacted, she said. Those workers have been able to apply for assistance from a fund set up and financed by Sonic Corp., some franchisees and suppliers.
