Super iMax offers plans for individuals

TASHKENT, Oct 03, 2008 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) -- KTC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Super iMax, operator of fixed and mobile WiMax network in Uzbekistan, started to render Internet services to individuals starting from 2 October 2008. The company said that currently it will render services only to individuals, located in fixed WiMax coverage zone in Tashkent city and Tashkent region. It offers two plans for individuals EVO-128 and EVO-256 with the internet speed 128 and 256 Kbit/s respectively. One time subscription is US$99 and monthly fee is US$49 for EVO-128 and US$69 for EVO-256. As earlier reported, Super iMAX launched commercial launch of WiMAX network in September 2008. The EVO network currently covers Tashkent city and Tashkent region, Andijan, Ferghana and Samarkand regions. The company plans to expand its network to whole Uzbekistan in next several years.Super iMAX was established in 2007 by two global corporations: KT (Korea Telecom), as an investor and operator, and Sumitomo Corporation, as an investor.
