Celanese Corporation announces dividends

Oct 06, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- CE | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Celanese Corporation (NYSE:CE), an integrated chemical company, reported on 3 October a quarterly dividend of USD0.04 per share on its common stock, as well as USD0.265625 per share on its 4.25% convertible perpetual preferred stock.

The two dividends are payable on 1 November 2008 for the period beginning 1 August 2008 and ending on and including 31 October 2008 to owners of record as of 15 October 2008.
