PowerRating -- Verizon Wireless, a wireless voice and data network and a joint venture
of Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ) and Vodafone (NYSE:VOD) (LSE:VOD),
announced today (6 October) that it has added and activated a new cell
site in Windham County, Connecticut.
The residents of Wilsonville, Porter Plain and Thompson Roads in North
Grosvenordale, Connecticut, as well as the surrounding area can now
benefit from high-speed wireless data coverage and capacity from
Verizon Wireless.
The company said that this latest investment means that every Verizon
Wireless cell site in New England, USA provides wireless broadband
connectivity.
