CIBC (CM: TSX; NYSE) - CIBC World Markets will audiocast its 2008 Fall Income Fund Conference, held October 7 - 8, 2008 in Toronto. The conference will bring together senior management from more than 40 major Canadian income funds to speak to an audience of institutional investors.

The conference will also feature a keynote presentation from Benjamin Tal, Senior Economist with CIBC World Markets, on the outlook for the Canadian and global economies. In his presentation, called Where in the World Are We?, Mr. Tal will discuss:

<< - U.S. and Canadian housing prices; - Impact of credit crunch on the real Canadian economy; - Future of the commodities market; and - Inflation concerns. >>
