The company''s revenues grew at a CAGR of 13% from $1,223 million to $1,979 million during 2002-2006, mainly due to the increased sales of generic oral contraceptives including TriNessa and Trivora; specialty products including Oxytrol and Trelstar; and nephrology products such as Ferrlecit contributed to the product sales.
Watson''s revenues are estimated to increase at an impressive CAGR of 12% from $1,979 million in 2006 to $3,076 million in 2010. The major contributors of revenue will be generic product sales. The company launched 16 generic products in 2007 including bupropion hydrochloride XL, Wellbutrin XL, and Telia Fe.
