According to a FAW-Volkswagen official, Bora Classic is still popular in the market, especially among young consumers. Its sales volume remained stable recently, averaging 5,000 to 6,000 units per month.
The new Bora car was unveiled at Auto China 2008 in Beijing in April, and is expected to enter the market shortly.
FAW-Volkswagen is a large-scale joint venture carmaker between FAW Group Corporation and Volkswagen AG, manufacturing such world famous car brands as Jetta, Bora, Golf, Caddy, Sagitar and Audi.
