CobraNet LE technology lowers power consumption and simplifies system design for deploying CobraNet technology into network end nodes, such as wall and ceiling speakers and audio wall boxes.
"CobraNet LE gives manufacturers a great solution for designing cost effective, stereo end point applications for CobraNet networks," said Carl Alberty, director of marketing, Mixed Signal Audio products, Cirrus Logic. "The cost and power savings LE provides makes it easier for our customers to drive CobraNet into designs that still utilize traditional analog point-to-point networks for audio distribution."
"CobraNet LE technology allows OEMs to drive CobraNet technology out to the wall or the ceiling, replacing costly and interference-prone analog wiring with robust CobraNet digital audio networking," said Rus Sundholm, president of Attero Tech.
CobraNet LE technology is available for purchase as a market-ready CobraNet LE Reference Design or as an IC from Attero Tech.
Cirrus Logic develops high-precision, analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for a broad range of consumer and industrial markets. Attero Tech is a private company that provides engineering services in system, hardware, and embedded firmware design.
