Jakeman Named Creative Chief At Activision Publishing

(NASDAQ: ATVI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) has appointed Brad Jakeman as chief creative officer. Jakeman, who previously served as served as executive vice president for corporate marketing for Macy's, Inc., will join Activision in early November.

Before Macy's, Jakeman spent eight years as managing director of global advertising at Citigroup (NYSE: C). In this newly-created position at Activision, Jakeman will be responsible for leading global advertising, media, marketing and consumer research for all of Activision Publishing's franchises. He will report to Mike Griffith, the firm's president and CEO.
