Patrick Oot, Director of Electronic Discovery and Senior Litigation Counsel at Verizon, said, "Guidance Software's EnCase eDiscovery provides compelling technology for search, collection, preservation, processing, and load file creation. And the Pay-Per-Use option allows us to pay for the technology on a per-case basis, which is our preferred method of paying for electronic discovery."
Guidance Software's Pay-Per-Use program allows customers to pay for EnCase eDiscovery through operating budgets on a per case, per custodian basis and at a fraction of what it would cost to outsource the process. It offers organizations the option of paying for only what they use, with charges tied to the amount of data searched, collected, processed, and output into load files.
"Given Verizon's leadership in the area of eDiscovery, we are extremely pleased that they have chosen our software for their electronic discovery needs," said Victor Limongelli, President and CEO of Guidance Software. "We are confident that EnCase eDiscovery will help them minimize risk, save time and reduce costs."
EnCase eDiscovery is an eDiscovery solution for the search, collection, preservation and processing of electronically stored information (ESI). It performs automated search, collection, and preservation of ESI residing in unstructured and semi-structured data stores such as: desktops, laptops, file servers, email servers, content management systems, and removable storage media, all without any business disruption. Additionally, extensive processing capabilities enable post-collection culling and de-duplication of data, as well as load file creation for attorney review platforms, allowing customers to cut processing costs.
