The store at 4330 N. Fifth Street Highway in Town Square Plaza is the second store for A.C. Moore in Berks County.
Bob D'Onofrio is the general manager of the store, which has about 35 employees.
The first A.C. Moore in Berks County opened in January 1991 on Route 222 in Cumru Township in a shopping center that also had been home to a Giant store.
In January 2005, A.C. Moore moved to Berkshire Mall West, Wyomissing. The Giant store moved next to the Shillington Shopping Center, in the 600 block of Lancaster Avenue, also in Cumru.
The new store also joins the new Giant in the same plaza.
A.C. Moore has more than 130 stores throughout the East Coast.
