Effective Oct. 13, Cuthbert takes up his new posts with the Seattle-based parent company of SeaBright Insurance Co., after the death earlier this year of Joseph De Vita, the company's former CFO.
Cuthbert, 61, has served in past senior management posts with Wells Fargo Insurance Services Inc. and Corroon & Black Corp., where he worked as CFO. He has also held CFO posts with the Coregis Group, Gryphon Holdings Inc. and LaSalle Re Holdings Ltd.
A 25-year veteran of insurance, Cuthbert is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University.
SeaBright Insurance Holdings Inc. writes workers' compensation insurance through SeaBright Insurance Co., its main subsidiary.
