According to the companies, mobile device users are familiar with text prediction, wherein a list of choice words is displayed, based on initial letters typed. TravellingWave's VoicePredict input method combines this form of text prediction with speech recognition, resulting in a fast and accurate text input for mobile devices.
The combination of eZiText and eZiType text-prediction and TravellingWave's predictive speech-to-text technology is expected to enable VoicePredict to deliver greater value for texting. In addition, it opens up new avenues for the companies' customers with respect to mobile messaging, search, discovery, and mobile advertisement, TravellingWave said.
