Based on the Touring Wagon, B4 and Outback, the new vehicle uses brick-colored real leather for the seats. Among the available options are a car navigation system with special audio features and hard disk drive. It will be offered in five colors, including silver and black, with uniformly black interior trim.
The limited-edition vehicle will be sold as a "Legacy for grown-ups" that emits an aura of luxury and fine quality. Only 1,000 of the vehicles will be sold, with orders to be taken through March 29, 2009. Prices will range from 2.73 million to 3.64 million yen (US$36,556.52).
Separate from this, Fuji Heavy Industries has also released an economy-class Legacy with some restrictions on features. The aim is to broaden the automaker's clientele.
