The company that makes products used with 3D imaging equipment lost a $1 million net loss, or a loss of 4 cents a share, versus, a gain of $300,000, or a penny a share, in the third quarter a year ago.
Revenue fell by 7 percent to $35.6 million with a drop in higher-end, large-frame systems' sales. Some of the downturn was offset by a 50 percent revenue growth in sales of 3D printers.
The company lowered expenses by 7.6 percent to $14.3 million during the quarter.
