The company said its online I-cards are comparable to a driver's license, passport or similar ID and allow consumers greater security and control when making transactions on the Internet. Users will be able to create and collect I-cards with their profile, purchase preferences, payment or verified identity information included.
Equifax will offer the I-Card in partnership with Parity, an identity management company, consumers will be able to use Parity's Azigo I-card management software, which provides one-click sign-in and identity verification.
