China Sky One Medical Inc acquires production rights for nine new drugs

PowerRating -- China Sky One Medical Inc (Nasdaq:CSKI), a fully integrated
pharmaceutical company producing over-the-counter drugs in China,
declared on 13 November that the company's subsidiary, Peng Lai Jin
Chuang Company Pharmaceutical Company, has signed an agreement to
obtain the rights to nine new drugs from Shandong Medicine Research &
Development Institute, for a cash consideration of RMB15m.

The nine new drugs, which are popular in the rural areas of China, have
passed all clinical trials required by the State Food and Drug
Administration (SFDA) in China and have also been approved by the SFDA
for production and sale, according to China Sky One Medical Inc.
The nine drugs are: Oyster Shell Calcium Granules and Oyster Shell
Calcium Tablets for calcifames and osteoporosis; Loquat Syrup for
tussis and bronchitis; Flos Lonicerae Syrup for coughs, colds, fevers
and sore throats; Sedative Bolus for depression and insomnia; Compound
Paracetamol and Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Tablets for fever,
headaches and perennial allergic rhinitis; Compound Tablet of Red Sage
Root for activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis and
angina; Compound Aminopyrine Tablets for fever and mild or moderate
pain and Vitamin B1 Tablets.
