The solution is expected to upgrade and consolidate the airline's information infrastructure to support its round-the-clock, global business environment.
Under the terms of agreement, PAL will replace three different multi-vendor disk systems with an IBM storage solution consisting of the IBM System Storage Turbo DS8300 and IBM TotalStorage Productivity Center management software that helps to centralise and automate storage tasks associated with storage systems.
IBM said that the company will work together with FRITZ & MACZIOL, a global IBM Premier Partner, in the implementation of this project.
