The ruling was part of a hearing this week in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy case of Circuit City Stores Inc., which has said it plans to reorganize its business. Under the court's order, Circuit City can continue to accept gift cards, returns and exchanges and to provide wages and benefits to its workers.
