Two GTEK projects include the first 5-star hotels carrying the Movenpick brand in Vietnam the Movenpick Hotel Sai Gon and Movenpick Hotel Hanoi.
GTEK said it would be providing high-speed internet access for hotel guests, as well as for internal hotel operations using Motorola's EWLAN solutions.
GTEK is fast emerging as an important telecommunications company, focusing on the ICT industry and especially high-speed internet services in Vietnam.
In partnership with Motorola, we are well-equipped to meet the significant growth in demand for enterprise class wireless internet access in Vietnam, said Andrew Lam, CEO of GTEK.
"We are seeing a clear trend in Vietnam where companies are planning to deploy Wi-Fi networks as a core component of their IT infrastructure," said John Cunningham, director of Enterprise Wireless and Radio Frequency Identification and Enterprise Mobility Business at Motorola Asia Pacific.
