The company said that the Mazda Demio 13C-V is powered by a 1.3 liter DOHC Miller-cycle engine, while the 13C, 13S grades are powered by a 1.3 liter DOHC engine. The 15C and the Sport versions of the Demio are powered by a 1.5 liter DOHC engine.
The freshened interior features a glossy black center panel and matching materials for the seat cover centers and door trim; and new silver garnish on the shift knob, parking brake and inner door handles. Aluminum Metallic, a dark silver exterior body color, has also been added to the Demio color list.
The manufacturer's suggested retail prices range from JPY1.19 million to JPY1.62 million including consumption tax. The refined versions of the Demio will be available at all Mazda, Mazda Anfini and Autozam dealerships in Japan. The Demio is known as Mazda2 in overseas markets.
