Owner and chef Dennis Apodaca is celebrating the restaurant's national fame with a 7 p.m. screening party at his newest eatery, Ezra's Place, at 6132 Fourth NW in the Lucky 66 Bowl.
Eats at the party are free and everyone's invited, Apodaca says, adding that the filming was a great experience.
"The crew interviewed countless customers" for the 10-minute segment, he says.
Couch potatoes who want to watch "Diners" with the energetic Guy Fieri at home can venture to Sophia's, 6313 Fourth NW, from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays-Sundays. Call 345-3935.
Hours at Ezra's, 344-1917, are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sundays.
