The settlement releases Barr and Teva for all past and future activities in connection with the US marketing and sale of generic Allegra (fexofenadine), and Teva and Barr will each pay Aventis about $30 million as well as royalties on future US sales.
The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) must review the settlement, which will take up to 45 days.
Teva fell 1.6 percent yesterday on Nasdaq to $42.19. The share fell 0.9 percent in early trading on the TASE today to NIS 168.80.
